Nurture Newberg is an informal group of Newberg residents who are seeking to make kindness, respect, and caring the touchstones of daily life. We hope that we can help to promote a widely shared vision of the kind of relationships we want in our community that enhance the wellbeing of every person. We invite you to get involved in this effort.

I love Newberg. It's like a longtime friend...someone I have known and cared about for so long that I don't have to agree to understand. I know so many people and although most disagree about much, they all have one thing in common, they actually care and want the same things. I want to focus on that in my hometown.
Nurture Newberg Vision
We suspect that most people would agree that conflict and disagreement is at an all-time high in most communities in America. Newberg is a small community. But it just might be that Newberg can show the way to strengthening cooperation and caring throughout the nation. We would like to give you the opportunity to contribute to a shared vision of what we want Newberg to be like.
"If Newberg became the most wonderful community in America, what would we be seeing, doing, hearing, and feeling more of?"

Daniel | Roberts | I saw two ladies in a car pull over by Parr Lumber and share a coffee with a homeless man. I asked if they were a part of some kind of organization and they said they just had an extra coffee and wanted to share it! |
Jim | Ferguson | I want to offer a BIG SHOUTOUT to my former colleagues over at Providence Newberg Medical Clinic who continue to do a FANTASTIC job providing high quality medical care to the people of Newberg and Yamhill County and beyond. You all are awesome! |
Mary | Martin Miller | Thanks to the spirit of volunteerism that abounds here, our home, Newberg! We see people volunteer to help make our town special every day. Just today we saw someone fall in front of a restaurant, and a car pulled up, the people got out of their car to help the lady who was struggling to get back up. All was well because someone volunteered to stop and help. Keep it going, Newberg! |
Hanna | Heddy | Thank you Newberg Library for providing the books and prompt last January to help me start a new hobby! This has been a joyful experience. |
Denise | Bacon | Thank you Seana (cashier at Safeway) for making me laugh out loud today! |
